National Craft Month

Posted in Uncategorized at 4:01 pm by librarygirl

Did you know that March is National Craft Month. It’s the perfect time to pull out your old craft projects and finally finish them. Or if you’ve been itching to try your hand at a new craft, now is the time. The great thing about crafts is that it’s never too late to start a project. So even if you aren’t a “crafty” person yet, there’s no better time to start than during National Craft Month.

If you aren’t sure what craft you want to try, here are some ideas:

Paper Mache, Decoupage, Embroidery, Cross Stitch, Needlepoint, Crochet, Candle Making, Floral Arranging, Flower Pressing, Macrame, Quilting, Beadwork, Herbcrafting, Pottery, Sculpting, Stenciling, Glass Painting,  Soap Making, Knitting

You can find books on all of these subjects at the library in the 700’s section. Happy crafting…
