Book that defines the Century

Posted in Uncategorized at 7:33 pm by librarygirl

This is interesting. Guardian Unlimited, based in the UK, has announced a contest that decides which book defines the 20th century. They have compiled a list of 50 books and anyone can vote on their favorite. The last day to vote is May 25 and the winner will be announced June 2nd. I am curious to see what book the UK picks. When the winner is announced, I’ll be sure to post it. Until then, we can only hope that Bridget Jones Diary will be the book that defines the 20th century.

Do you see a favorite book on the list, or maybe a book you think the list is missing or could do without? Let’s hear about it, leave a comment.
